E allora ho immaginato un quadro con un rosso che può ricordare la bandiera rossa del socialismo dove ancora si intravede la stella, ma tutto è spezzato, tutto è distorto e, per fare questo quadro, ho guardato molto la pittura di De Kooning perché mi sembrava che attraverso quelle strutture così spezzate e continue si potesse parlare in maniera più profonda del significato di questa crisi. Un uomo in primo piano come una silhouette nera se ne va con una paio di valigie e il titolo qui è forse l'indicazione per capire il senso. Andare dove? ”
